Following on from the current COP26 topic, the Oakroom have been very busy this week investigating more about recycling. Undertaking some junk modelling activities to reuse our cardboard and plastics, we have also been working on putting our rubbish in the correct bins to help look after our world. On our forest school day we walked up through the woods where the children noticed that lots of trees had been cut down and new ones had been replanted. This sparked lots of conversation on why people cut trees down and how trees are important for our environment. We hope to investigate this more next week. On Tuesday afternoon we had our weekly music session with Liam, we got to make our very own shaker instruments. This was lots of fun and we cant wait to use them in next weeks session! Thanks Liam.
